Beautiful sterling silver matched set consisting of a beveled hand mirror with the monogram in flowing script, EW. The brush, which seems to be a man's brush is monogrammed WW. From the small differences in the monogram script and the fact that the hallmarks do not match, I think that one item preceded the other in the last ownership. The appearance of the brush and mirror is identical as if a matched set. Do you suppose, EW gave WW the brush as a wedding gift to match her mirror? The edge of the mirror has several dents. Do you suppose that EW later gave WW 40 whacks with the mirror? Hmmmm.
