I am guessing at the original contents of this George Lueders & Co. bottle. The remaining contents smell to me like clove oil. The label reads: Perfumers raw materials, synthetics, vanilla beans, vanillin, olive oil, true fruit and synthetic essences. The top of the label is obscured. The company was in the pharmaceutical business in the late 19th early 20th century. Address given on the label is New York, 427-429 Washington Street. Still has a battered cork in it. I may have to destroy the cork as the contents leak, and I can't ship with the contents. Interesting item. |
