| An unusual tooled leather handkerchief holder. It is made from one piece of leather and folded to form a case for keeping handkerchiefs. There is still the original snaps. Open it stretches to 14x15, closed it is 6x9. Tooled with poppies and leaves with the word Handkerchiefs on the front. The back is plain. Worn around the edges but no rips or tears, the snaps still work. This looks to be a piece dating from the Art Nouveau period, 1890-1910. |
