| A lovely white silk purse, probably used by a bride at the turn of the century (19th-20th) It is all hand sewn, no machine stitching. The embroidery on the purse is painstakingly perfect. There is a lace strap on the back for the woman to hold. The purse has yellowed with age and there is a tiny hole in the silk at the back. The lining is white satin and has not yellowed. No fraying or loose embroidery. In almost perfect condition for a hundred years plus, delicate silk purse. |
