| A majolica style pottery tea set consisting of a Vine and Berry entwined 4-6 cup teapot and like cream pitcher and sugar bowl with lid. The teapot is 7" tall and 8" across. The cream pitcher is 4" tall and the sugar bowl, 4.5". This teaset has a deep cobalt blue background and raised green leaves with white blossoms and deep red berries.The handle spout and finials of this set are entwined berry vines. Very handsome set in excellent condition. Brush stroke signature on the bottom is not decipherable. No makers mark. I do not believe these are old, although they are a beautiful majolica like pottery. |
