A comb, brush, file and other narrow brush make up this vanity set that is very art nouveau. Ca. 1890-1915. The hair brush is marked RW & S with a deer head mark and Sterling 9600.
The file and narrow brush are marked only Sterling. The narrow brush also has France stamped on the ivorine handle. Natural bristles on both brushes. The narrow brush has a monogram on one side, possibly BL in script. The only dings are on one side of the file. Otherwise minor scratching commensurate with age and use. The comb does not have a sterling cap, but silver plate. It is worn, but matches the set well and the comb itself is in good condition.
