Footed Yellow Iridescent Courtship Cup A Nasco Import from Japan with pearlized scalloped interior cup and iridescent yellow exterior. The lovers are printed inside the cup. 3 tiny gold feet and an elaborately curved handle make this a fantasy indeed. Early to mid 20th century and in excellent condition.

Antique Japanese Vase A beautiful porcelain Japanese vase made just after the Nippon mark was no longer allowed in 1921. This mark is a sailboat with Japan and handpainted in green. 1921-41 A majestice 9.5" x 5.5" eared vase gilt trimmed with beading. Full blown pink roses on a variegated green ground. In excellent condition with some wear of the gold on the handles.

Moss Rose Trinket Box A trinket box in the Moss Rose pattern trimmed in gold with lovely curved feet. The box is 2"tall x 3" wide and 4.5" long. Moss Rose was an extremely popular pattern from 1808-1900. But this piece was made as late as 1921-41. Almost every country made a version of this pattern. England, Germany, Poland, the USA, Japan. It is not often known where they originated. This set is marked in red Japan. See my other listings for matching pieces.

Chikusa Hand Painted Cruet Set Made in Japan by Gold Castle, Chikusa. It is handpainted and consists of a salt and pepper shaker and a small condiment pot with tiny ladle, all in porcelain. Nippon Art Nouveau Lemonade Set A lemonade or cider set consisting of a large squat pitcher and 4 cups. All are hand painted with violets and leaves in an Art Nouveau style. Some wear on the gold rims of the cups and pitcher from normal use. The pitcher is 6.5" tall and 8.5" from spout to handle. The cups are 3.5" tall. No chips or cracks.

Nippon Rising Sun Dessert Plate A charming oriental style hand painted plate dating from the Nippon era of 1865-1921 in Japan. The Mark is a rising sun in blue underglaze.
