Aesthetic Polychrome Transferware Pitcher An aesthetic movement polychrome water pitcher, 10.5" tall and approx. 8" wide without the handle. The pitcher is transfer decorated in the aeshtetic movement style of the period just preceding the Art Nouveau era. Unmarked as to maker, but with a raised seal having an impressed Rd. number 5568. This accurately dates it to 1884, the first year that England required Rd. registration numbers. This polychrome pitcher is in excellent condition, with no blemishes. The decoration shows woodland scenes in inserts on a background of berries and leaves.

Royal Worcester Pink Dish Royal Worcester made this gorgeous Pompadour Pink dish in 1891. Fully marked with back stamp for 1891 plus registry mark. The number 1477 may be the pattern number. It is curved, fluted and embellished with acanthus leaves and tiny roses. In excellent condition. 7" long and 5.5" wide.

Salt Glaze Spongeware Pitcher A heavy salt glaze pottery water or milk pitcher, decorated with incised shell design around the upper rim. Blue and white spongeware pattern over a dark brown base. Manufacturing flaws are a glazed over bubble at lower foot, and a partially glazed crack at the spout, as shown. These were cheaply made utility vessels at the time (ca 1840s-1890s) and were prone to manufacturing flaws.
This one is considered in good but not excellent condition. 9" tall and 6" from spout to handle

Copeland Jasperware Pitcher ca 1850s A blue and white jasperware pitcher made by Copeland following the decreased production of Wedgwoods jasperware in the 1850s when that company was faltering.
This exquisite example of Copeland's jasperware work features a ring of dancing classical maidens, garlands of roses and geometric trim on the rims. glazed interior.
In excellent condition and stamped England Copeland 42. 4" tall and 5" from spout to end of handle.

The cream pitcher is 3.5" tall and the sugar bowl is 3" in diameter. A lovely set for your tea party!
