Antique French Child's Mug
A child's stoneware mug from ca.1815 -1840 depicting a young sculptor and a young artist. There is a French motto or saying at the bottom, but it is difficult to make out. I think it says: Statuaire- Sculptor. The piece is transfer printed and then hand colored. It has 3 chips around the rim. No mark. 3x3.5
