Antique French Angel Intaglio Salt in Carrier
An amber glass open salt in a gilt handled carrier frame. The frame is brass gilt with scroll designs and fleur d'lys feet. The glass insert has a classic intaglio angel. The entire piece is in excellent condition. No chips or imperfections in the glass. The gilt is still intact except for some darkening on the handle. The over all size is 3.75x2.5 while the insert is 2.8x3.4

Cloissonne Open Salt or Ink Pot
Red fish scale cloissonne holder with old glass insert. The enameled brass holder is of fine workmanship and shows some age. There are marks that say 60MMet and 44PJU. It was sold to me as an open salt and may well be, but it may also have had a previous life as an ink pot, possibly for an Asian scholar. More photos upon request. Condition is excellent.
