Silver Overlay Art Nouveau/Deco Crystal Plate This is one of those overlapping era designs that some will call Art Deco and other Art Nouveau. The hand hammered effect leads me more to the Art Nouveau period. It is a clear crystal 8.5" plate with a heavy band of hand hammered silver with stylized cartouches of a vase of flowers at 3 points around the rim. An exquisite piece and believed by the estate to have come from Germany in the early part of the 20th century. In excellent condition.
