Salt Glaze Spongeware Pitcher A heavy salt glaze pottery water or milk pitcher, decorated with incised shell design around the upper rim. Blue and white spongeware pattern over a dark brown base. Manufacturing flaws are a glazed over bubble at lower foot, and a partially glazed crack at the spout, as shown. These were cheaply made utility vessels at the time (ca 1840s-1890s) and were prone to manufacturing flaws.
This one is considered in good but not excellent condition. 9" tall and 6" from spout to handle

Cream Pitcher with Stylized Flowers, Embossed and Flute Stylized flowers reminiscent of the style of the 30s are handpainted on this fluted and embossed pitcher. It is trimmed in gold. no maker's marks. 3.5" tall and 3.5 wide. In excellent condition with just a tiny bit of wear on the trim.

Mustache Cup with Roses This is an interesting mustache cup. It is a rather short and wide shape, which would allow for a luxuriant mustache. 3x3.5
It has decal roses all around and is trimmed in gold on a white embossed shape. There is a back stamp which identifies it as Royal Crown with the number 3256. I don't believe it is actually of any great age. It just doesn't have the signs. A good piece for use or for the collector. In excellent condition.
