A pristine hymn book in its original mailing envelope, complete with letter, glossy photo, and envelope with cancelled COD stamp. If you are a fan of this old western cowboy singer and songwriter, you will of course remember his famous "Deck of Cards". New interest is now being generated in this interesting cowboy figure who made many popular western recordings and later became a minister. This hymn book shows that his interest in religion did not come just late in life. The book was probably never used, as it remains in its envelope and the pages are pristine. There is a glossy studio photo and a letter that accompanies the book that tells a story with a moral. Nice little collection.
