Bottoms Up Cigarette Dispenser Box Made by the Shaw Barton Co. of Coshocton, Ohio this novelty cigarette dispenser box is a well crafted piece. It is constructed of inlaid strips of light and dark woods and has a leather insert on the top. This top is embossed with the former owners name. Probably a special order for the desk of a business man of the 1940s. The patent # identifies it as being manufactured in 1943.
A beautiful but prosaic box until lifted and turned over, the bottom snaps open to reveal cigarettes. This vintage box is contained in the original cardboard box and has the original advertising and instruction booklet. 3.5x6 and in excellent condition.
