Moss Rose Tea or Coffee Set A china coffee or tea set Moss Rose pattern trimmed in gold with lovely curved handles and embossed lines. The pot is 6.5" tall. Moss Rose was an extremely popular pattern made from 1808-1900. Almost every country made a version of this pattern. England, Germany, Poland, the USA, Japan. It is not often known where they originated. This set is unmarked. See my other listings for matching pieces.

Vine and Berries Majolica Tea Set A majolica style pottery tea set consisting of a Vine and Berry entwined 4-6 cup teapot and like cream pitcher and sugar bowl with lid. The teapot is 7" tall and 8" across. The cream pitcher is 4" tall and the sugar bowl, 4.5". This teaset has a deep cobalt blue background and raised green leaves with white blossoms and deep red berries.The handle spout and finials of this set are entwined berry vines. Very handsome set in excellent condition. Brush stroke signature on the bottom is not decipherable. No makers mark. I do not believe these are old, although they are a beautiful majolica like pottery.

Roses and Gold Melon Teapot A sweet teapot in very good condition. A melon shape with gold lid and spout and handle.Little or no gold loss. It has age crackling of the glaze on the creamy white background whic is expected. The roses are fullblown and sort of a brownish pink color, with green leaves. Very attractive and useable.

Silver Plate Single Serving Teapot This little silver plate over copper 1 cup pot is apparently a restaurant or hotel pot for serving tea or coffee. It has a steam release hole in the lid. It is embellished with an elaborate finial and handle. In very good condition. It is imprinted on the bottom with a mark identifying it as the woork of Sweeney Mfg. Co, Brooklyn, NY. 5" tall No excess wear, one small ding on lid where lid meets handle.

Austria China Creamer & Sugar Bowl Hand Painted Although the mark says Vienna Austria, the maker is likely PH Leonard of New York. A maker of fine china, the rage for only imported china caused some US firms to use marks meant to deceive. ca. 1890-1908. This is a beautiful antique set of creamer and sugar bowl with lid. Hand painted with lovely blue flowers and trimmed in heavy gold. Excellent condition.

Blue & White Floral Bavarian Tea or Coffee Set This is an outstanding coffee or tea service made by Alboth & Kaiser between 1953-1970. The firm has been making fine porcelain since 1784.
Included in the set are a Teapot or coffee pot, a cream pitcher and covered sugar bowl, 5 cups, 6 saucers and 2 serving plates. A stately service in blue and white with floral bouquets scattered on each. Each has a slightly different combination of flowers. Please see all photos.
