Bottoms Up Cigarette Dispenser Box Made by the Shaw Barton Co. of Coshocton, Ohio this novelty cigarette dispenser box is a well crafted piece. It is constructed of inlaid strips of light and dark woods and has a leather insert on the top. This top is embossed with the former owners name. Probably a special order for the desk of a business man of the 1940s. The patent # identifies it as being manufactured in 1943.
A beautiful but prosaic box until lifted and turned over, the bottom snaps open to reveal cigarettes. This vintage box is contained in the original cardboard box and has the original advertising and instruction booklet. 3.5x6 and in excellent condition.

Moss Rose Trinket Box A trinket box in the Moss Rose pattern trimmed in gold with lovely curved feet. The box is 2"tall x 3" wide and 4.5" long. Moss Rose was an extremely popular pattern from 1808-1900. But this piece was made as late as 1921-41. Almost every country made a version of this pattern. England, Germany, Poland, the USA, Japan. Wooden Flemish Art Glove Box Pyrography An antique, 1910, wood glove box that has been decorated using the wood burning technique known as pyrography. Very nice example with lots of flowers that look like pansies. The hinges and latch are in excellent condition. One split in the wood of the lid and the interior silk lining is frayed in 2 spots. See all photos. Still very nice for an almost 100 year old piece. A great example of the woodburners are. A lot of detail here.
