Hydrangea Blossoms Molded Swiss Pitcher A beautiful Victorian jug or pitcher. It is 6" tall and 6" from spout to handle. Elaborately molded with a decal of maple leaf begonias in lavender and white. In excellent condition. From the mark, it seems to be from Basel, Switzerland and a pottery called Beck et Cie. There is a word that I can't make out in the mark, which may provide a further clue to this lovely pitchers origin. ca 1900.

Moss Rose Snack Set for 4 A china snack or hostess set in the Moss Rose pattern trimmed in gold with lovely curved handles fluted plates. The cup is 2.25" tall. The plate/saucer is 7" wide. This snack set is made to make easy balancing a sandwich or dessert with a cup and saucer. An all in one solution. Moss Rose was an extremely popular pattern made from 1808-1900. Almost every country made a version of this pattern. England, Germany, Poland, the USA, Japan. It is not often known where they originated. This set is unmarked. Austria China Creamer & Sugar Bowl Hand Painted Although the mark says Vienna Austria, the maker is likely PH Leonard of New York. A maker of fine china, the rage for only imported china caused some US firms to use marks meant to deceive. ca. 1890-1908. This is a beautiful antique set of creamer and sugar bowl with lid. Hand painted with lovely blue flowers and trimmed in heavy gold. Excellent condition.

Swirled Bone China Cream Pitcher An unusual shape and contour to this cream pitcher. It has a bulbous shoulder and then narrows at the base. The artist has followed the contours in a swirl stripe of palest blue green lined with gold. The rim is embossed and the handle is an intricate curve. Very Victorian in feel and handpainted. No marks and in excellent condition.
