Set of Austria Star Salad Plates, Embossed & Fluted Star Austria is the only mark on these 8 matched fine porcelain plates. They are really breathtaking! Shaped like pointed lace doilies, they are embossed and fluted with decal posies and gold trim. In excellent condition. These are the salad plates 8" in diameter, but I have also shown the dessert plates 6" in diameter, both in the first picture side by side and in the last, stacked. Buffalo China Vienna Serving Bowl with Handles A blue and white transferware porcelain serving dish with handles. This is fine china made by Buffalo Pottery of the USA in 1915. A stylized Art Nouveau border pattern is transfer printed on the edge and handles. It is 3" deep, 7" in diameter and 10" wide with the handles. A hard to find pattern, with some staining and loss of gold on the handles. No chips or cracks.

Bridgwood & Clarke Stoneware Covered Vegetable/Tureen An 1850 Bridgwood & Clarke Ironstone serving dish with lid, sometimes called a tureen, although it does not have the slot in the lid for a ladle.
It does have an old large chip which nicely accommodates the serving spoon...it almost looks deliberate. A hairline crack also near the finial. See photos. Foliate molding with a melon finial.

Meakin Ironstone 1890 Soup Tureen A great Meakin ironstone tureen in excellent condition. The finial and handles have a royal crown motif which is most unusual.
Most of these Staffordshire pieces have crazing or chips or some flaw, this one is in exceptional condition, with only a few glaze pops inside. It has a slot in the lid for the ladle. 13" long and 9" tall including handles and finial.

Jon Edwards 1889 Large Ironstone Sugar Bowl with Lid This is a large old-fashioned sugar bowl in Ironstone. It is in excellent condition. The lid is faintly a different white than the body of the bowl but seems to fit fine and the finial matches. It may have been a very early replacement. The sugar bowl is in great condition for an 1889 item. No flaws. 7" tall and 6" wide with handles and finial.
